Philips Psg 8160 Steam Iron Leaking Problem

I recently purchased a Philips psg 8160 model steam iron. Surprisingly, it began leaking water during the first use. When I contacted customer service, they suggested I take it to a service center for inspection. We dropped it off at the authorized service center in Erzurum today, promising to pick it up later that evening. The iron in the box, however, had a scratched base, scuffed sides, and was covered in dust and grime. It was obviously not mine. We were very unhappy and returned it to the service center right away. Surprisingly, they refused to acknowledge the problem, claiming that if there were scratches, they could have occurred at the service center. We disagreed, left the iron, and left. I intend to contact Philips customer service tomorrow to explain the situation, hoping for a quick resolution. This level of service is unworthy of Philips. I'm hoping they replace our iron with a new one.
