This problem could have more than one cause. First, make sure the water tank is in the right place. Leaks can happen if the tank is not placed correctly.
Check the drip tray next. The machine sends internal rinsing water into the drip tray while automatic cleaning or making coffee.
The tray can fill up faster than expected. Overflow can be avoided by emptying and cleaning the drip tray on a regular basis.
Also, look for old or broken seals in the brew group. These can lead to leaks inside the machine. The problem might be fixed by replacing any broken seals and oiling the brew group.
There may be a bigger problem inside the company if these steps don't fix the problem. In this case, it's best to get more help by calling Philips customer service or a trained technician.
