Philips Did Not Replace My Faulty PSG7040 Steam Generator Iron Despite Issues

I purchased a Philips PSG7040 steam generator iron on October 18, 2024, and it has broken down twice since then. The first issue was that steam, instead of coming from the iron, started leaking from the sides of the boiler. It was sent to service and returned. However, soon after, it began dripping water from underneath. During the first service, they also found that the gasket in the descaling section was faulty and replaced it. Despite contacting customer service multiple times and explaining that the product was defective and should be replaced since it had issues within the first six months, they kept stalling me. They took the product again, supposedly fixed it, and sent it back, claiming they needed to confirm the defect. Philips has not only failed to stand by their product but has also disregarded my legal rights. I don’t think I will ever purchase anything from this brand again.
