Philips Avent SCY906/1 Bottle Melted

I purchased the Philips Avent SCY906/1 baby bottle. After buying it, we were only able to prepare formula twice. On the third use, when we followed the instructions in the manual and kept the bottle in boiling water for five minutes, it melted and became unusable. I contacted Philips customer service about the issue, but they told me it was due to user error. However, the product manual clearly states to boil it for five minutes. If this causes damage, then the instructions should be corrected or removed. It’s surprising that a company would not stand behind a product that costs this much. The lack of attention to our feedback and complaint is also disappointing. Thank you for selling a product you refuse to take responsibility for. I request a replacement for the item and for my grievance to be resolved.
