Devrim's Thank You Message
“After the complaint was published, the update section on Youtube.com became active. After updating, it was possible to log in to the application. Thank you.”

I have been using my Philips 49PUS6412/12 television since 2018, and for about a week now the YouTube.com app has stopped opening. When I click on the YouTube logo, nothing happens—there are no warnings or error codes, and the app simply won’t launch. My TV is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi, and all other apps work without any issues; only YouTube.com is not functioning.

From my online research, I’ve seen that many other Philips users are experiencing the same issue. Since I had a similar problem with my previous LG TV, I’m now convinced that the television no longer supports the YouTube.com app. We buy these TVs and pay significant amounts of money because they include smart apps like YouTube.com, and we trust those features. Having these apps stop working without any notice is, in my opinion, unlawful from a Consumer Rights standpoint, and I’m even considering legal action because of this.

My expectation from Philips is that the necessary software update be provided so that YouTube.com can function properly again on my TV, and that this issue be resolved.
