Peugeot 3008 Oil Leak Due To Service Error Refused Under Warranty

I noticed an oil leakage issue on my 2023 Peugeot 3008, which is still under warranty and has been regularly maintained at authorized services, on 29.12.2025. I contacted Peugeot, and following their directions, my vehicle was taken by tow truck on 30.12.2025 to Baykaralar Peugeot Authorized Service in Bayrampaşa, Istanbul. Upon arrival, we were told that the technicians would inspect the vehicle and inform us. A few hours later, they called and stated that the oil was leaking because the oil filter had been overtightened during maintenance, clearly describing it as a workmanship error; however, they also claimed that this workmanship was not performed by them and said the issue could only be fixed for a fee. Our discussions with Peugeot Türkiye did not result in a different or solution-oriented approach, and we feel that the process has merely been dragged out. I request that this issue—which occurred on a vehicle still under warranty, regularly serviced, and which they themselves acknowledge as a workmanship error—be fully and properly resolved under warranty without any charge to me, and that my vehicle be repaired and delivered without further problems.
