On 22 February 2026, I travelled on Pegasus flight PC 630 from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport to Sharm El Sheikh, scheduled at 11:40. Although the airline ticket was not purchased by me, Pegasus employees acted on the assumption that I had personally bought the ticket and was fully aware of all related warnings, baggage rules, and conditions. Based on this incorrect presumption, I was compelled to pay 50 EUR so that my bag, which was not accepted as a cabin bag, could be placed in the aircraft’s checked baggage hold. This payment of 50 EUR was taken from me on 22 February 2026 at approximately 11:22 at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport in relation to flight PC 630. I consider this charge unfair and contrary to good customer practice, as it was based on an erroneous assumption about who purchased the ticket and what information I had received. I hereby demand the immediate reimbursement of the 50 EUR paid to Pegasus on 22 February 2026, together with the statutory interest accrued from the date of payment. I request that Pegasus review this incident, correct this mistake, and promptly refund the unjustly collected amount.
