While checking in our luggage at Antalya Airport, Pegasus officials approached us and asked if we would like to be stand-by volunteers. They informed us that if we agreed, the cost of our return tickets would be refunded within a week. Additionally, if we couldn't board the 22:10 flight, we would receive a free ticket for the next available flight. Several Pegasus staff members, including baggage claim officers, assured us that whether we flew on the 22:10 flight or not, the amount for our return tickets would be refunded because we were stand-by volunteers. They instructed us to wait for boarding and check in with the officers periodically. As there was room on the 22:10 flight, we were able to fly. However, our previous check-in was invalidated, and we were assigned random seats, resulting in my wife and I being seated separately. I am requesting your support to process the refund for my return tickets as soon as possible. Despite not receiving an email confirmation, the call center representative informed me that there was no record of the stand-by note or any related information. It is highly unprofessional that this was not noted in your system. We agreed to be stand-by volunteers based on the clear promise that our return tickets would be fully refundable, regardless of whether we flew on the 22:10 flight. This situation has caused unnecessary inconvenience, and I have had to spend additional time addressing this issue. Despite explaining the situation to the call center, I am still being asked to submit a detailed request. I am attaching the stand-by stickers placed on our suitcases by Pegasus staff as proof. I have repeatedly requested your support for the refund of my return tickets but have received no assistance. The responses have been automatic and unhelpful, failing to address the actual problem. Please process the refund for my return tickets as promised.
