I had a ticket with Pegasus Airlines that I needed to either cancel or reschedule. When I reached out to cancel the flight, I was shocked to learn that they would only refund 30% of the ticket price, keeping a massive 70% as a penalty. That seemed unfair enough, but it gets worse.
I then asked to keep the ticket open and use it for a future date, which is standard practice with many airlines. Instead of offering flexibility or support, Pegasus demanded an additional ₺1000 fee just to open-date my ₺1975 ticket. That means they wanted over half the ticket's value simply to allow me to use it later.
I find this policy to be unjust and exploitative, especially in situations where travel plans can change unexpectedly. The lack of flexibility and the excessive fees show a total disregard for customer satisfaction.
I am requesting that Pegasus Airlines review this case and either allow me to postpone my ticket without unreasonable charges or issue a fair refund. As a paying customer, I deserve respectable options—not price gouging under the guise of policy.
