Pdfe.com Charged $232 After $1 Trial Without Clear Disclosure

February 14 4:54 PM197

About three months ago, I made a one-time trial purchase on Pdfe.com and paid $1 for the trial. There was no clear or explicit disclosure that this payment would start a subscription, that it would continue after the trial period, or that my card would be charged on a recurring basis.

Despite this, I later discovered that for three consecutive months, my QNB credit card was being charged automatically on the 9th of each month. In total, approximately $232 was withdrawn from my card without my knowledge or consent. During this time, I did not receive any email, SMS, or other notification, nor did I provide any authorization for these recurring payments. As soon as I realized what was happening, I contacted my bank’s customer service, and my card was canceled.

I am requesting a full refund of the approximately $232 that was charged without my knowledge or approval. Aside from the $1 trial payment, I did not agree to pay any subscription fee. Because the subscription and recurring charges were not clearly and transparently disclosed, I have been unfairly charged and expect this issue to be resolved as soon as possible.
