On February 5, 2026, I used the Pdfe digital platform solely for a PDF conversion service and was charged $1 on my Garanti Bank credit card for that transaction. At no point during this process did I see any clear or understandable disclosure indicating that I would be enrolled in a subscription or that a higher fee would be charged later.
However, on February 12, 2026, I noticed a second charge of $75 on my Garanti Bank credit card ending in 7051. I did not provide any explicit authorization for this transaction, nor did I receive any notification, SMS verification, or email regarding this charge. There was also no clear disclosure stating that such a subscription fee would be collected at the end of any trial period. For this reason, I consider this transaction to be unauthorized and in violation of consumer protection laws, as it was made without my explicit consent.
I request that the unauthorized $75 charge be refunded to my card immediately and in full, that any subscription initiated in my name be canceled at once, and that my card information be permanently deleted from your system. I also request a clear and written explanation regarding this transaction.
Otherwise, I will file a formal chargeback dispute with my bank and pursue all available legal remedies, including filing a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board.
