I Face Unauthorized Charges After Using a Free PDF Trial Online

March 9 3:35 PM

I used the websites pdfe.com and pdfeditor.org to edit a PDF document one time only. The website displayed wording suggesting the service was free, and I proceeded only to use this free trial option. I did not realize that I was accepting any subscription or recurring payment, and I did not believe I had signed up for any membership.

However, on 03/08/2026, I noticed that approximately $131 had been charged from the virtual card I use through QNB mobile banking. I only intended to use these websites for a one-time free trial, so I feel seriously wronged because this amount was charged without being clearly disclosed or properly approved by me.

Regarding this transaction, I contacted my bank, QNB, and created a formal dispute request. I demand that the charge taken through pdfe.com and pdfeditor.org be canceled and that the unfairly withdrawn amount be fully refunded to my account.
