PDFAid Hidden Charges & Poor Cancellation Support

I signed up for the PDFaid trial on 03/13/2026, assuming there would be clear information about when billing would begin and that I would have the full trial period to decide whether to continue. I cancelled the subscription the very next day through my account, well within what should have been the trial period, and I did not receive any warnings or reminders that I would still be charged. Despite this, on 04/05/2026, I was charged $49 via PayPal. When I contacted PDFaid support about this, they claimed they had never received my cancellation, which I find extremely frustrating and hard to accept, as I cancelled promptly and in good faith. They also refused to issue a refund, even though the charge occurred after I had already cancelled and before what I reasonably understood to be the end of the trial period. I believe there is a serious lack of transparency and communication regarding trial terms, billing start dates, and cancellation handling. I request that the $49 charged to my PayPal account be fully refunded and that any related subscription be permanently cancelled, as I cancelled in time and did not receive the service under clear and fair conditions.
