PDF AID Unauthorized Charges - Refund Not Received

On 12 November, I used PDF AID for what was clearly presented as a one‑time PDF conversion and made a single payment with my credit card. There was absolutely no clear information on the site about any subscription or recurring charges, and everything appeared to be a once‑off payment. Shortly after this transaction, I noticed small unauthorized charges of under 1.00 on my credit card that I had not agreed to. I contacted PDF AID’s support, and they told me it was a once‑off payment, which contradicts the ongoing charges I am seeing. The pricing and subscription terms are not transparently disclosed, and it is far too easy for users to be signed up or charged without proper warning. Because of this situation, I had to block my card and dispute the charges with my bank to protect myself from further unauthorized payments. I would strongly advise others not to enter their card details on this site until the company clearly discloses its pricing and stops charging users without explicit consent. On 29 November 2025, I received an email from the PDFAid Billing Team stating that a total refund of $39.00 x 2 (they took $78.00) had been approved and processed on 19 November 2025 and that the funds had already left their account. Despite this statement, I have not received this refund in my bank account, so I consider this response misleading and unacceptable. I request that all unauthorized charges be cancelled and fully refunded without further delay and that my card details be permanently removed from their systems.
