PDF Guru Subscription Scam? $70 Withdrawn Without Clear Notice
Even though I never gave permission or explicit consent, today a subscription fee of $70 labeled as a “renewal fee” was withdrawn from my Kuveyt Türk Bank card ending in 4148 through the PDF Guru application. I did not receive any clear or understandable information stating that the subscription would renew automatically or that this amount would be charged as an annual fee.
As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted the company via email and requested that the unauthorized transaction be canceled and the fee refunded. However, my refund request was denied solely on the basis of their internal refund policy. This is the first time something like this has happened to me, and I do not accept being charged for something I never knowingly approved at any stage.
I request that the $70 withdrawn from my card without my knowledge or consent be refunded as soon as possible, that the subscription be canceled, and that proper measures be taken to prevent similar issues in the future.
