I Get Unauthorized ₺1599 Charge From PDFGuru.com After Trial Payment
On August 2, 2025, I was searching online for a free PDF creation tool when I came across PDFGuru.com. The site advertised that I could purchase a trial version for only ₺25, and during signup I was asked to provide my email address and credit card information. Since I only wanted to create one PDF file, I agreed to the ₺25 charge, thinking this would be a one-time payment.
However, on August 9, 2025, I was shocked to find that an additional ₺1599 had been withdrawn from my account without my knowledge or consent. Apparently, a Premium membership was activated automatically after the trial period ended, with no warning, no notification, and no explicit approval from me. I never used any Premium features, and this subscription was created entirely without my authorization.
I immediately sent an email to customer service to request cancellation and a refund, but I have not received any response. This feels like an unfair and misleading practice that violates consumer rights.
I demand the immediate cancellation of this unauthorized Premium subscription and a full refund of the ₺1599 taken from my account. I also expect PDF Guru to contact me urgently through my email address (d********@yahoo.com) and resolve this matter without delay.
