I made a one-time, low-cost purchase on the PDF Guru website, but to my shock, multiple charges were taken from my account on different dates even though I only used the service once. On 07/08/2025, they charged me $0.98 and $1.49. On 12/08/2025, another 39₺ was withdrawn, and on 14/08/2025, they even attempted to charge a massive 2,099₺. Thankfully, my bank immediately blocked the largest charge, but the fact that it was attempted at all is unacceptable.
Out of fear, I canceled my subscription right away and received an email confirmation from PDF Guru confirming the cancellation. However, there was no explanation or acknowledgment of the unauthorized charges I had already incurred.
I am extremely cautious with online services, yet I still experienced this issue. I demand a full refund of the excess charges and an explanation for why this happened. I also call on PDF Guru to make their payment processes more transparent and trustworthy so that no other users have to go through the same stressful experience.
