Papara Allowed My Transfers to IQ Option and Refuses to Recover My Money
Greetings, I am filing this complaint against Papara Bank for facilitating money transfers to IQ Option, an illegal brokerage company operating outside Turkey without a valid license. I made several transfers through Papara Bank to IQ Option for binary options trading, unaware that the company was illegal in Turkey. IQ Option misled me into believing they were operating legally, further reinforced by the presence of the Papara logo and payment gateway on their official website. I later discovered that IQ Option is not licensed in Turkey, yet Papara continued to process payments for them, showing negligence in complying with Turkish financial laws. This occurred in 2022 and 2023, and the company recently removed the Papara payment method to cover up this legal violation. When I requested the bank to recover my money from the accounts that received these transfers, I received no appropriate response. I raised this issue with Papara Bank, but they denied any connection with the company, claiming I dealt with unverified accounts. I have all the receipts and account statements from Papara Bank, as well as evidence that IQ Option used Papara to receive payments. I demand the recovery of the $190,000 I lost due to these illegal transactions, along with additional compensation for the damages and financial loss I suffered.
