Otelz.com Did Not Pay for Bookings and Blamed Virtual Card Issues for Months


Our hotel, located in the Güngören district of Istanbul, has been collaborating with Otelz.com for about two years. However, for the past month, we have not received payments for accommodations collected through Otelz.com. Typically, these payments are processed via a virtual card within 1 to 2 days, but we have been waiting for over a month with no resolution. The agency has repeatedly claimed there is an issue with the virtual card company, but this explanation has not led to any concrete action or resolution. We are no longer receiving the payments we are entitled to, and as a result, we have decided not to accept any reservations collected through Otelz.com, instead advising guests to cancel them. We urge other businesses facing similar issues to consider suspending agency-based reservations from the system. This situation is exhausting and unjust. We are the ones providing the service, working tirelessly, and showing care for guests, yet our rights are being ignored. Otelz.com has lost its credibility and respect, and the reputation it built in the tourism sector over the years has been severely damaged. Enough is enough.
