I am Ezgi Bahçi*** from Turkey. My husband and I bought four different Opel cars at various times. On September 10, 2023, we purchased the fourth one (Opel Astra L GS VIN: VXKFPHNSTP1049814) from Ankara ABC GRUP. On September 13, 2023, I noticed a gap at the upper right corner of the information display. I scheduled an appointment on September 17, 2023, at the Ankara ABC Grup Opel Service, where we bought the car. They mentioned a rare manufacturing issue and promised to investigate. Afterward, they claimed some connections were improperly made and fixed it. Upon receiving the car, I discovered they used a large screw to connect the screen to the dashboard, resulting in drilling marks on both components. Upon reporting this to Opel Türkiye via email and attaching photos, requesting a screen replacement, they alleged the damage was my fault because of a dashcam. However, the dashcam was connected to the lighter and not installed with screws. I spoke with the manager of Ankara ABC Opel Service, who assured a screen replacement. Upon receiving the car again, I found the screen unchanged, and the drilled areas were merely covered up. In summary, Opel Türkiye and Ankara ABC Grup Service initially disregarded my concerns, accused me of falsehood, and attempted to deceive me into believing they replaced the screen. Despite being a long-time Opel enthusiast (purchasing four cars), I have lost trust in the brand. My intention was to purchase an Insignia for my next car, but due to Opel Türkiye and Ankara ABC Grup Service neglecting their responsibilities and customer satisfaction, I regretfully plan to opt for another brand like Volkswagen.
