Omix 600 Phone Shuts Down and Has Screen Issues and I'm Taking It to Consumer Court
Do not buy the Omi× 600. In the first months after buying this phone, it started turning off by itself, and the screen would go blank. Colorful lines appeared, clearly indicating it was a faulty model. However, due to my busy work schedule and not having another phone, I couldn’t send it in for service. I wrote about it here, and I was told I needed to send it for service. I asked if they offered temporary phones to customers during the repair process, as many brands do to avoid inconveniencing people. They said no. So, I had no choice but to keep using the phone as it was. It’s incredibly frustrating—this is a new phone, and during important calls, it freezes or the screen shuts off. Now, I can’t even unplug it from the charger, or it shuts down, and sometimes it even turns off while charging. I deeply regret buying this phone, it was the first time I chose a brand I didn’t know, and this is the result. After researching online, I found that everyone who bought this model is complaining about the same issues. It’s said that the battery in this model is faulty, but when I spoke to customer service, they said they couldn’t confirm if there’s a defect without seeing the phone. A brand should know if its product is faulty and acknowledge it. I believe you know, but you’re not admitting it. I will now take this matter to the Consumer Court. I didn’t want to deal with this, but now I will, rest assured.
