Nissa Car Rental Cancels Reservation Without Notice at Airport
On October 11, 2025, I rented a car through Obilet with reservation number 16CDB284F0E4 from Nissa Car Rental to pick up at Erzincan Airport. I paid with my credit card through the app. When I arrived at the airport at 9:30 AM, I could not reach anyone from Nissa Car Rental and found no company representative. I then contacted Obilet customer service three times and Nissa Car Rental repeatedly. Both companies only informed me that the reservation was canceled without my consent, and neither offered any solution to address my inconvenience.
I was told to wait at the airport for approximately 1.5 hours, repeatedly being told the vehicle would be brought; in the end, I was simply told that no vehicle would be provided and that the reservation was canceled. When I contacted Obilet again, I was told that only a refund could be issued and that no changes could be made. During this process, I was not given any official explanation, solution proposal, or documentation—either verbally or in writing.
Because of this inconvenience, I was forced to rent a vehicle from another company at Erzincan Airport for $483 USD, which is three times the cost of my original reservation, which was $178 USD. I have the reservation confirmation, cancellation notice, and payment receipt, and I can provide all these documents.
This is the first time I have experienced such an issue, and this situation has caused me both financial and emotional distress. I request that the price difference be paid to me within 15 business days. I reserve all my legal rights regarding the damages and losses I have suffered.
