Carwiz Ankara Esenboğa Deposit and Unauthorized Charge Issues
I rented a vehicle from Carwiz at Ankara Esenboğa Airport on October 30, 2024 (Reservation No: 24-ESB-1807) and returned it on November 9, 2024, at 3:50 PM without any issues. During the rental process, my credit card was charged ₺12,961.06 instead of the €350 deposit block that was supposed to be applied. Additionally, on November 10, 2024, another ₺424.83 was deducted from my credit card without my consent.
Despite returning the vehicle in perfect condition and being satisfied with the process at the time, it has now been four weeks since the return, and the deposit has not been refunded. Repeated attempts to contact Carwiz via phone, email, and WhatsApp (to S*** Hanım, who assisted me during the rental) have gone unanswered.
Based on other customer complaints, it appears this delay in refunds may be a recurring issue. I am requesting the immediate return of the ₺12,961.06 deposit and an explanation for the unauthorized charge of ₺424.83. If I do not receive a resolution within a reasonable timeframe, I will escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities and file a formal complaint to ensure it is addressed.
