Nissa Car Rental Replaces Reserved Car With Cargo Van

On November 28, 2025, I rented a car for 7 days from Nissa Car Rental through the Obilet app. I completed the reservation and payment in the app by selecting a Hyundai i20 or similar vehicle. My Obilet reservation code is 16D70808BFA2.
When I went to the Nissa Car Rental office across from Nevşehir Cappadocia Airport (NAV) to pick up the car, they brought a Fiat Fiorino cargo van instead of the Hyundai i20 or similar class I had selected. The vehicle was not only in a completely different category than what I reserved, but it was also very dirty and poorly maintained. In addition, they told us that because the car was rented through Obilet, no insurance was included, and if we wanted insurance, we would have to pay $115 USD for 7 days.
When we stated that we did not want to purchase insurance, they told us that without insurance, even the smallest scratch could result in a $92 USD deposit being taken, and that damage charges of up to $346 USD could also be applied, which we saw added to the contract. This was the first time I had encountered such a practice, and since these conditions did not match the information presented at the time of booking, we canceled both the reservation and the contract and did not take delivery of the vehicle.
During this process, we were told that the $92 USD deposit charged to my credit card would be refunded. I request that this $92 USD deposit be returned to me in full and as soon as possible. I also ask that this process be reviewed and corrected so that other customers do not experience the same inconvenience.
