In April 2025, I rented a car from this company in Nevşehir because the price was affordable. First of all, they did not provide the vehicle I had requested. When it was time to return the car, I informed them in advance and arrived at the airport exactly on time, yet no one was there to receive the vehicle. The person who originally handed over the car, a staff member named M*** **, told me on the phone, “We’ll be there by the time you drop off your luggage.” However, he did not come himself and instead sent someone else.
After dropping off my luggage and returning to the car, I noticed that the rear bumper was scratched. I believe this was done deliberately, because M***** spoke on the phone with the person he had sent and then asked me to transfer $231 USD to his IBAN. When I refused, he lowered the amount to $115 USD. When I said I didn’t have that much money, he reduced it further to $58 USD. When I still refused to send any money, they called me from the company’s official phone number and said they would initiate a formal process. I told them, “Do whatever you want,” and returned to Istanbul.
Even though I contacted the company’s head office and explained everything, they did not believe me. They claimed they had listened to the phone recordings and said that I was at fault. I tried to pursue camera footage, but eventually gave up. They had placed a $92 USD hold on my credit card, which they ultimately kept. As a result, my holiday was completely ruined—they turned what should have been a festive period into a nightmare.
