Carwiz Macedonia Charged Excessive Fee for Minor Scratches I Didn't Cause

On December 5, 2024, I rented a car from Carwiz at the Macedonia Airport branch. I returned the vehicle on December 16, 2024, with no major issues. However, upon inspection, the staff pointed out superficial scratches on the bumper, which I believe occurred just before returning the car. I hadn't noticed them as they were minor and barely visible.
Despite explaining that it wasn’t a collision but a minor scuff, they insisted otherwise and charged me €280. To my shock, $310 was deducted from my card instead. After researching, I found the repair cost should have been around €50. Carwiz has issued an inflated and unjustified invoice. I demand an immediate refund for the excess charge and transparency in their practices.
