My Nine West Posey Chelsea Boots Deteriorated After Five Uses

On November 21, 2025, I purchased the Nine West Posey 5PR Black Women’s Chelsea Boots in size 39 through Nine West’s official website. I wore the boots only four or five times and then carefully stored them in their original box. Despite this, the material around the front of the boots began tearing and developed noticeable cosmetic damage without any external impact or customer misuse.
This level of deterioration after so little use and within such a short period does not meet the quality standards I expected from Nine West. I have been a Nine West customer for many years, and this is the first time I have experienced such a serious quality issue. The condition of the boots has left me extremely disappointed.
When I contacted customer service, I was told that nothing could be done because more than 30 days had passed since the purchase. However, the expiration of a 30-day return period should not prevent Nine West from inspecting a potential manufacturing defect and conducting the necessary evaluation. I was not given sufficient information, and the company did not take a solution-oriented approach.
I am requesting that the boots be accepted for inspection by the appropriate department and that the deterioration be evaluated as a possible manufacturing defect. I also expect Nine West to provide an appropriate resolution in accordance with my consumer rights and demonstrate that it values customer satisfaction.
