On August 7, 2025, in the afternoon, I purchased a gray classic New Balance t-shirt from the StarCity New Balance store. I paid ₺500 for the product. I followed all the washing instructions carefully, washing it at 30°C, 600 rpm, on the quick daily 14-minute program. Despite doing everything exactly as recommended, the t-shirt shrunk by one full size after just the first wash, making it uncomfortable and unusable.
Unfortunately, I misplaced the receipt, and when I tried to seek help, I could not reach store staff or customer service for any support. At the time of purchase, I was also not given clear information about the return or exchange policy, which added to my frustration.
I strongly believe this issue points to a manufacturing defect rather than user error, as a quality t-shirt should not shrink so drastically after only one gentle wash. Considering the price I paid and the brand reputation, this is highly disappointing.
I am requesting a full refund for this defective item. I expect New Balance to take responsibility for the quality of their products and provide a prompt resolution to this matter.
