Hello. On February 23, 2025, I purchased the new season New Balance 9060 model from the İstinye Park store and paid a whopping ₺9,900. I’ve only worn them twice, and both times, the shoes caused an intense burning sensation, as if I were holding my feet over a stove.
Even though they are not winter shoes and feature a mesh design, I couldn’t bear to keep them on. I’ve never experienced anything like this before with any brand. There is clearly a material or design defect with this shoe. I sent them in for inspection twice, but both times I received a rejection with no valid explanation.
I’m planning to escalate this to the Consumer Arbitration Board, as this issue is clearly not unique—many people online have reported the same problem, but I didn’t believe it until I experienced it myself. I had faith in New Balance as a global brand and expected a fair resolution.
Instead, I was completely dismissed. A company of this size refusing to take any responsibility is unacceptable. This is not how a reputable brand should treat its customers.
New Balance, I urge you to acknowledge this defect and offer a refund or replacement immediately. This is not just about a product—it’s about customer trust.
