On December 20, 2025, I purchased a flight ticket through Mytrip for the Bangkok–Chiang Mai route under order number 1106758288. I paid $66 USD by credit card.
The flight was scheduled for May 5, 2026. On December 21, 2026, I contacted Mytrip to request a date change to May 6, 2026.
I received an email confirming that the change had been made, and I was charged $67 USD for the new ticket fare plus $38 USD as a change service fee, for a total of $105 USD. However, during a phone call, a representative (Ms. H*****) told me that my original ticket had been forfeited and that the transaction was processed as a change. The invoice and payment receipt clearly state that the transaction was a “change.” If my original ticket had truly been forfeited, I would have simply purchased a new ticket myself for $67 USD and would not have paid an additional $38 USD change fee.
As a result, for a flight that normally costs around $57 USD, I have paid approximately $172 USD in total and feel seriously mistreated. I request that Mytrip refund the amount of my original ticket and conduct a proper review of this unfair pricing. I have all supporting documents, including email correspondence, payment receipts, and invoices.
