MyIQ.com is A Predatory Scam

I used the MyIQ.com service and consider their subscription practice to be deceptive. On 9/20/25, I paid an initial $1 fee in order to view my quiz results. There was no clear indication during this transaction that I was signing up for a recurring subscription, nor was I asked to confirm any ongoing monthly payment agreement. Without any notification or explicit consent from me, MyIQ.com then started charging me $29.99 per month as an auto‑renewing subscription. I was billed eight times for $29.99 between 9/27/25 and 4/11/26. At no point did I receive clear reminders or notices about these upcoming charges. The information about auto‑renewal was hidden in the fine print, and there was no straightforward option where I actively chose to subscribe to a $29.99 monthly plan. I contacted MyIQ.com customer service to request that these unauthorized subscription charges be refunded, but I was told that their policy is not to issue refunds. I find this unacceptable, given that I only agreed to pay $1 to view quiz results and was never clearly informed that I would be enrolled in an ongoing paid subscription. I request a full refund of all $29.99 subscription charges that were taken from my account and confirmation that my subscription has been fully cancelled, and no further payments will be taken.
