MyIQ IQ Test Turned Into Monthly Subscription Without Warning
I made a payment on the MyIQ website believing that I was only paying a one-time fee for an IQ test. However, without any clear disclosure, consent, or approval from me, a subscription was started without my knowledge, and a monthly charge of approximately $31 was deducted from my account on the night of March 11. I completed the transaction on March 4 through the website, and at no point during the process was I presented with any information about a subscription or recurring payment.
While I intended to pay only for a single test, the fact that a subscription was later initiated without my knowledge or consent is both misleading and unacceptable. For this reason, I request that the subscription started without my approval be canceled immediately and that the full amount of $31 be refunded to my account.
I thought I was paying a one-time test fee on the MyIQ site, so I made a payment on March 4. However, a monthly subscription of ₺1,367 was started without informing me. This situation misled me and put me at a disadvantage, and I am requesting a refund. So far, no action has been taken and I have not been contacted by the brand.
