Dispute Unauthorized MyIQ.com Subscription Charges and Demand a Refund
On December 8, 2025, I took an IQ test on the MyIQ.com website solely for entertainment purposes. During this process, I did not authorize any subscription, recurring payment instruction, or similar membership. Despite this, I later discovered that my İş Bankası credit card had been charged approximately $27–$29 on a recurring basis for about seven months. The first charge began around December 15, after which the billing dates were gradually shifted toward the beginning of each month.
The unauthorized charges made to my card without my consent or approval have totaled approximately $186. When I noticed the charges, I contacted my bank, and I was informed that my credit card would be canceled and replaced with a new one. However, I am still experiencing financial harm because the unauthorized payments taken by MyIQ.com have not been refunded.
I do not accept being charged recurring fees without clear, transparent disclosure or explicit authorization for a subscription. I request a full refund of all amounts charged without my consent and ask that the financial harm I have experienced throughout this process be fully addressed.
