On January 2, 2026, I took an IQ test on the myıq (myiq.com) website and made only a one-time, small payment for the test. During this process, I was not clearly or explicitly informed about any subscription, and I did not give consent to an automatically renewing membership.
Despite this, on January 9, 2026, a $30 USD charge was made to my Ziraat Bank virtual debit card without my knowledge or approval. This transaction was completely unexpected and unauthorized.
As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted myıq customer service by email and requested that the subscription assigned to me be canceled and that the $30 USD be refunded. However, I have not received a satisfactory response so far.
I believe that this type of practice is misleading to users. I demand an immediate refund of the amount charged without my consent and the cancellation of my subscription. Otherwise, I would like to state that I will initiate a chargeback dispute through my bank and exercise my legal rights.
