Mustela Avocado Baby Shampoo Burned My 2-Month-Old’s Eyes Despite “Tear-Free” Label

I purchased Mustela’s organic avocado newborn shampoo, which carries a “tear-free” label, believing I could use it safely. On Wednesday, September 17, I used this product for the first time on my 2-month-old baby, after having previously only washed with water.

The moment I applied the shampoo, my baby’s eyes burned severely, turned red, and he cried for a long time. Since that day, I have not used the product again.

I had bought the shampoo through Trendyol in March, but when I tried to reach their customer service, I was told they could not assist me since the purchase was made months ago. My order number is #10089029036.

It was extremely upsetting and disappointing to experience such a reaction from a product labeled “tear-free.” I expect an apology and explanation from Mustela and the seller regarding this incident. If necessary, I also request that a replacement product be provided.
