MSC Fantasia Premium Package Fails Despite Extra Payment

From the moment we boarded the ship, there was a clear lack of organization, or rather, a sense of complete chaos. One of the most frustrating issues was the Premium beverage package that I had paid extra for. Despite having paid for this package, I had to go to the reception desk five separate times and spend an entire day trying to have it properly added to the system. Whenever I wanted to order a drink, I was told, “You don't have a package,” and I was repeatedly forced to explain the situation, sometimes relying on translation because my English is limited. As a result, my entire first day turned into an exhausting battle of frustration and arguments. After multiple discussions with staff, I finally managed to have the package activated, but only after losing an entire day of my vacation.

At the same time, I had to spend time searching for a suitcase that had gone missing. I also experienced a situation where the waiter taking my order lost my card, and the sink in my cabin had not been properly cleaned. In addition, my internet package was apparently not activated until the end of the first day. I have to emphasize that without the assistance of an employee named B****, even a full day would not have been enough to resolve all of these problems.

I would also like to point out the quality of the so-called all-inclusive service. The food options often seemed to consist of a single type of olive, a single type of cheese, and large quantities of pastries containing pork products. At the restaurant, we were sometimes asked to sit at the same table as other guests, and we had to wait in line just to enter the restaurant. Even when pizza was not available, it felt difficult to get a proper meal without paying extra. In fact, even during dinner, there were times when there did not appear to be sufficient food available unless we were willing to pay additional charges.

This is particularly disappointing because the cruise is marketed as an all-inclusive vacation. It is also presented as a luxury holiday experience, yet in practice, we were often left with basic options such as olives, cheese, pasta, and pizza. This did not feel like a luxury vacation to us. Instead, it felt like being on a floating one-star hotel while being charged for what was supposed to be an all-inclusive experience.
