Miele TKG840 WP Dryer Broke Right After Warranty Expired

I purchased a Miele TKG840 WP dryer on October 20, 2019, and it broke down immediately after the extended warranty expired on October 20, 2024. When I pressed the power button, the screen showed no display. I contacted the authorized service center, Evser Teknik, at 4440679, and on October 20, 2025, Mr. S*** İ*** came to pick up the machine from my home, charging a ₺1,750 service fee. After inspecting the machine, the service center first quoted ₺30,000 for the repair, then revised it to ₺23,450. They also stated that if I chose not to have it repaired, I would have to pay an additional ₺1,500 to have it returned. I explained that these costs were excessively high and almost equal to the price of a new machine from another brand, but customer service offered no discount or solution. This is the first malfunction my dryer has ever had, and I specifically chose Miele, paying nearly three times more for its reputation of durability and quality, which makes this experience very disappointing. My dryer is still at the service center, and I am currently trying to source the required part myself. If I cannot find it, I do not wish to pay another ₺1,500 just to have it returned. I expect Miele and the authorized service to either repair the product at a reasonable cost or return it to me free of charge. I kindly request that my issue be resolved.
