Investigating Merrell Shoe Quality After Metro Market Purchase

I bought a pair of Merrel trekking shoes from the Metro Market Büyükçekmece branch. Within a month, the shoes started to come apart at the seams, resulting in thread unraveling and visible leather damage on the side. I returned the shoes to Metro Market, where they assured me that they would thoroughly examine them and provide a response within 21 business days. However, a mere 5 days later, they suddenly changed their tune and insisted that the mistake was my fault, demanding that I retrieve the shoes myself. When I picked up my order on February 13th, I encountered customer service that was unresponsive and uncaring. The shoes were given to me 15 minutes later along with a form, but it lacked any explanation or details. Upon receiving the quality control results, I was quite disappointed to find a document filled with numerous grammatical errors. To my surprise, the report seemed to suggest that any issues encountered were solely due to user error, such as hitting hard surfaces. This explanation struck me as rather absurd, especially considering that these shoes are specifically designed for trekking purposes. It is truly disappointing to experience such poor customer service and baseless accusations of user error from Metro Market, especially as a loyal customer since 2014, where I've always found satisfaction. I kindly request a resolution for the situation I am facing, be it the repair of the shoes, a refund, or an exchange.
Dear Valued Customer, First of all, we would like you to know that we are sorry for the negative experience you have had. We will contact you as soon as possible to resolve the issue. Thank you.
Dear Valued Customer, The review process regarding your complaint has been completed. The necessary information has been provided to you through our Call Center. Thank you for choosing MetroGross.
Metro stated that the product they sold comes with an importer warranty and advised me to pursue a resolution through the Consumer Arbitration Committee. It is disappointing; they sell the product themselves but do not stand behind it when a problem arises. Let's especially consider feedback when purchasing textile and electronic products.
