Meetup Charged Me Without Notice and Ignored My Refund Request

In the middle of May 2025, I was charged for a Meetup organizer subscription renewal without getting any notice or confirmation ahead of time. I planned to terminate the subscription before the renewal date, however the payment went through without any warning. Since then, I've used their contact forms many times to explain the matter and ask for a refund. I also sent them a message using the app, expecting they would respond quickly. Sadly, it's been more than a week and I haven't heard back from you at all. It's quite frustrating to deal with a platform that talks about "community" but doesn't take responsibility. This isn't simply a bad experience; it's a total letdown. I now get why so many other people have said the same thing.
