I’ve been using the Maybelline New York Hyper Precise All Day Eyeliner in Matte Black for years and always trusted its performance—until now. I ordered it from L'Oréal Paris’ official N11 store, so I know it was a genuine product. But this time, what I received was extremely disappointing.
The eyeliner felt as if it had already been partially used or poorly filled. It dried out within two weeks, which is something I’ve never experienced before in all the time I’ve used this product. It barely lasted a month, even though my previous purchases—usually from cosmetic stores—lasted much longer.
I can’t help but think this might be due to the product being on discount, possibly affecting its shelf life or quality. If offering discounts means cutting corners on product content or longevity, then don’t discount it at all.
I expected the same long-lasting, smooth performance I always got from Maybelline—not a dried-out, almost-empty pen that quits on me after just a few uses. I’m truly disappointed, and I won’t be purchasing this eyeliner again unless the brand acknowledges and addresses this drop in quality. I urge Maybelline to take action and restore the standard customers have come to rely on.
