On September 21, 2025, I purchased a pair of Newmom Comfort high-waisted jeans (Ref: 17079405), size 38, from the Forum Trabzon Mango store. Even though I washed the product only once, the fabric stretched out excessively and became unreasonably loose — it now fits completely baggy on me. In addition, one of the pant legs developed a sharp, scratch-like visible line.
Because of this, I took the product back to the Forum Trabzon store for inspection. The staff member told me that mom jeans can stretch up to two sizes, but that customers are not aware of this. I responded by asking why such an important detail is not disclosed at the time of sale. They said they could still send the product for inspection, that the excessive stretching might not be approved, but the line on the pant leg might allow for a return.
On November 28, 2025, the store called to inform me that my exchange request had been rejected. I find it unacceptable — both from a consumer standpoint and for brand trust — that a product washed only once and already so deformed is not approved for exchange. I do not want to be forced to throw away an item I paid $43 for after such a short period.
I do not want to purchase the same product again. I request an exchange with a different item, or preferably, a full refund.
