First-Use Dye Bleeding Problem with Mango Jeans Caused Shoe Damage
On 21.11.2025, I purchased a low-waist, wide-leg jean with reference number 17097125 from the Mango Bağdat Caddesi store for $42.27. I wore the product for the first time yesterday and, when I was caught in the rain, the dye from the jeans ran and transferred onto my shoes. Because of the dye that ran from the jeans, the color of my New Balance shoes, which I bought for $234.90, was also damaged, and they are now in an unwearable condition.
Experiencing such an issue on the very first use of the jeans—simply by being out in the rain—has caused significant inconvenience and financial loss both regarding the jeans and the shoes. I have not yet contacted the store or Mango customer service about this issue. Due to the problem I experienced, I request a refund of the amount I paid for the jeans and compensation for the damage caused to my shoes.
