Lufthansa Charged for Extra Tickets & Bank Account Blocked
On February 16, I purchased two tickets from Lufthansa. Despite only buying two tickets, the airline’s system shows five separate reservations under my name. My bank confirmed the payment for two tickets, but the remaining three reservations have a pending authorization that has frozen funds in my account.
For the past eight days, I have been unable to use my bank account due to this unauthorized hold. I never received any verification code or approval request for these extra bookings, yet Lufthansa’s system has placed a block on my funds. This issue is preventing me from paying my credit card bill, and now I am at risk of accruing interest charges due to Lufthansa’s error.
Customer service keeps telling me to "wait", but this is unacceptable. I demand an immediate resolution, including the release of the blocked funds and reimbursement of any late payment fees caused by this delay. Lufthansa must take responsibility for this financial inconvenience and provide a quick and fair solution.
