I Face Rude Customer Support from Lufthansa While Trying to Check In Online
I recently encountered unacceptable customer service while trying to complete an online check-in for my upcoming Lufthansa flight. When the system didn’t allow me to check in digitally, I called Lufthansa’s customer support line for help. Unfortunately, the representative who answered was not only unhelpful, but also dismissive and rude. She didn’t allow me to fully explain the issue, interrupted constantly, and showed no interest in actually solving the problem.
As someone who lives in the U.S., I’m used to customer service agents who actively listen and work toward solutions. Lufthansa’s support was the opposite—impersonal, impatient, and completely lacking empathy. It felt like I was being brushed off rather than helped.
If I’m choosing your airline, I expect your staff to uphold a basic standard of professionalism and respect. I urge Lufthansa to properly train and monitor its customer service representatives. Please address this matter and ensure that future passengers don’t have to deal with the same disrespectful treatment.
