Lenovo Precision Pen 2 Not Turning On Despite Full Charge

I recently purchased a Lenovo Precision Pen 2, but despite being fully charged, I am unable to turn it on. While plugged in, the pen's white light turns on, but as soon as I remove it from charging, it does not respond. No matter how long I hold the top button, the pen simply won't power on.

I am using it with my Lenovo TAB M10 tablet, but I am unsure if the issue is with the tablet not detecting the pen or if the pen itself is defective. Lenovo, I need urgent assistance! Is there a reset option or a fix for this issue? I expect a quick resolution, as I purchased this pen specifically for my work.
