LC Waikiki Vouchers Bought With Miles and Smiles Useless Outside Turkey Mainland
LC Waikiki lately gave me a bad experience concerning a gift voucher buy. Thinking I may utilise them while shopping in Italy, I bought LC Waikiki certificates with my collected Miles and Smiles points from Turkish Airlines. I was told that the certificates are only redeemable in mainland Turkey following the purchase. Trying to receive a refund or transfer the coupons back to Turkish Airlines, I spent more than forty minutes with customer support but nobody seemed eager to assist. Furthermore, they restrict you to using just one ₺250 coupon per transaction, which wasn't made apparent during the purchase process. I felt duped and now have ₺2500 in useless certificates. LC Waikiki must correct these false methods.
