Three days ago, I purchased La Roche-Posay’s new Pure Niacinamide 10 serum based on my pharmacist’s recommendation to help with dark spots on my face. I specifically mentioned that I have sensitive, allergy-prone skin, and the pharmacist assured me that this product was safe for sensitive skin.
The first night I used it, after cleansing my face with La Roche-Posay Effaclar face wash and toner, I applied the serum. Initially, there was no burning or itching, so I followed up with my moisturizer and went to bed. However, the next morning, my entire face was covered in redness and bumps. I tried the serum again, this time only washing my face with water beforehand, but once again woke up with the same reaction.
Despite claims that this product is suitable for sensitive skin, it is clearly causing severe irritation. I paid ₺2,100 for this product and can no longer use it. I demand a refund and expect La Roche-Posay to address this issue. This is disappointing, especially since I’ve been using La Roche-Posay products for four years without any issues. Please resolve this matter promptly.
