I purchased the La Roche-Posay Vitamin C serum with high expectations, trusting the brand’s reputation and paying a premium for what I believed would be a top-quality skincare product. Unfortunately, it has been a major disappointment from the very first use.
Every time I apply the serum to my face, it starts pilling—forming white flakes—and leaves a sticky, uncomfortable residue. No matter how I apply it or pair it with other products, the result is always the same: sticky texture, zero absorption, and a visibly patchy layer that ruins the rest of my routine.
For a product that costs this much, I expected smooth application, hydration, and real skin benefits—not frustration and waste. I now regret spending so much on something that simply doesn’t deliver.
La Roche-Posay, if you stand by your quality claims, then acknowledge this issue, investigate the batch, and consider offering refunds or exchanges for customers experiencing these problems. I don’t want others to throw their money away like I did. Fix this or stop selling it under the promise of performance it can’t meet.
