I have been using La Roche-Posay SPF 50 sunscreen for a long time and had never experienced an issue before. However, with the most recent product I purchased, there is a very strong and unpleasant odor on my face, similar to fenugreek. I bought the product from a pharmacy in Samsun. Since I have used the same product many times before, I am familiar with its usual scent, but this time the smell is clearly different and disturbing. I have not experienced any burning or redness on my skin—only difficulty using the product due to the odor.
When I reported the issue to the pharmacy where I purchased it, they could not provide a clear explanation, but they did mention that other customers had also come in with similar complaints about the smell. This situation has shaken my trust and caused inconvenience since I cannot comfortably use the product.
I request that La Roche-Posay provide a clear explanation for this change in odor, that my product be examined if necessary, and that my issue be resolved appropriately.
