On February 27, I purchased Effaclar Cleansing Gel, Duo+ Moisturizer, Sunscreen, and Mela Serum from a pharmacy to help with my acne and dark spots. I followed all usage instructions carefully, expecting improvements. Instead, my skin condition got significantly worse—not only did my acne not heal, but it became more inflamed and irritated, causing new painful breakouts.
To pinpoint the issue, I tested each product separately, but the results were the same—my skin only deteriorated further. The Mela Serum was the biggest disappointment; the advertisements claim visible results in a week, but I saw absolutely no improvement, proving it to be nothing but marketing hype.
